We use hemp in some of our products and have been asked so many questions on the ingredient so we wanted to clarify some facts.
Hemp balances our sebum production to reduce oiliness. This can help reduce breakouts and acne.
Hemp oil can improve skins elasticity and contains compounds that can combat signs of aging.
Our products that do contain hemp extracts contain 5% or less of the ingredient unless otherwise stated. Extracts are used at >1% as they are extremely concentrated.
Hemp is amazing for flaky, dehydrated skin and helps restore the skin barrier.
Overall hemp is a super star ingredient that we love! We understand that its use may prohibit our product for some shoppers and we hate to lose you but do want to give our customers the best! And the best of the islands absolutely includes hemp extracts and oil.
